Dudsville

Not a lot going on here to blog about really. I'm a dud since I'm back home from market. Do you get that sometimes? It's like nothing seems interesting. I went to Target, I went to the market, and I went home. The end. Boring. I sat in my sewing room several times, but that's about all I did. And I feel like I want to sew, I just can't get in the groove. Mostly because the groove is covered with piles of stuff that needs sorting and putting away. So in the meantime, some scenes around the garden will have to tide you over. Look quick, it's in the 90's today so I'm sure this will all crisp up real soon. The a/c has already come on twice!

The Rabbity Garden, but not a rabbit in sight.

A cool vintage chandelier.. gotta change out those bulbs though, man its way to bright.
Finally a lamp in the entry using that new outlet Bret put in. Very soft and nice.
See you soon peoples.

I'm with you. Sometimes I sit here and wonder, "What the heck could I possibly write about today??"

That chanelier is lovely. I'm looking for something for my little studio (once my daughters bedroom). That lamp in the entry is so cute. Did you make it? I love s small lamp in the hall. Like you said there's nothing like the soft light.

We need a road trip. And a free gas card.

Sounds like post-joyride blues. Your days were filled to the brim with Market anticipation, Market fun, Market recall, and now anything will seem quiet by comparison. Enjoy it! I think your Dudsville looks pretty sweet... love all the house and garden scenes. I just know Pamkitty will groove again!

So funny, I am in the same rut! I feel like sewing, but can't get in the groove. So I just keep doing customer's quilts. Maybe the mood will strike soon....I hope. I hope you get into the swing of things soon. Good Luck!

Lovely garden, such beautiful colored flowers.

I think it's the price one must pay for going to an exciting quilt market. It's always hard to get back into things when you're on inspiration overload. Beautiful flowers -- Stay Cool!

Hi Pam,
Yes we all do have those dud days and it is hard to be exciting all of the time. Kick back and go with the the flow, do something YOU love to do for awhile. You'll be back in the groove in no time.
Been there and back!

These are the moments when you sit in the coolest spot you can find, read through a stack of magazines, and drink ice tea. You'll get back in the swing in no time.

Kick back, girl...you've been on a whirlwind! Of course, you could come back to our neck of the woods, it's 50ish and drizzly but good news, we have our summer sweatshirts on, now!! It is Junuary, here so can find a good reason to sew, just no mojo to do it, either!
Missed seeing you and E when you were here, dang!

Sometimes it's good to be bored, it recharges your creative battery. Love the chandelier!

I know. I have the blahs, also. We're going to the coast tomorrow and I'm not even looking forward to it! Blah, Blah, Blah! I'm sure once I'm there and I have an antique store fix I will be revived!

I don't know how I missed those entry shots. Man I love your entry! And that lamp-in-a-basket... I'm dying over it! Strawberries?

PS... I'm having whacky email issues - trouble with sending. Maybe it's time I change the lightbulb in my computer.
