Greetings!

Hope your weekend was fantastic! The weather here was perfection on Saturday and pretty darn close on Sunday, even if it was a tad warmer. Windows open! No a/c!! I even pulled the covers on Saturday night. Chilly! It was like being rejuvenated.

Didn't want to disappoint you guys, so I finished my blocks and made the pillow. I love how it turned out. Well I like it a lot, the non-matchiness of it kind of bugs me, but I'm trying to be cool about it. I dug through my stash and found everything to finish it, so all I had to buy was the pillow form. And for that, 50% off coupon, so I bought the expensive one, well worth it.

I used the method that Elizabeth taught me.. and I love how nice it turns out. That woman makes a mean pillow.

See how sweet it looks with the pillow she crocheted for me? Meant to be. Ok, what's on your agenda this week?

Well, I 'm putting the finishing touches on my gnome pillow from Just Stitchy, and today while I was at Pine Needles I ran into Lori Holt!
Like the ninny I am I introduced myself and called her a celebrity...because she is!
If I were to see you in person I would faint :)

The pillow looks awesome! I definitely like it's scrappy look. It's very, very charming!

My best friend, that moved, is in town visiting. She currently lives in China so we are busy picking up stuff she can't find there. That does include a few trips to some fabric shops.

Hey Pam! Not sure what you mean about the non-matchiness of it. From a stranger to your stash, it looks like a perfectly cohesive scrap pillow ... no weirdness to me ... honestly! And believe me, I'm the queen of weirdness when it comes to my own work so I know all about self-doubt! ;) I love it. Can't wait to make my own.
