Monday Morning

Great laid back weekend here. The weather was so nice and cool, lots of resting and relaxing going on. Started on this well recommended book out back on the swing with some coffee Sunday morning.

Lots of really great comments and ideas from Friday's post!  Thanks so much!  Today's winning comment is from verykerryberry   who said..."I would fussy cut this cuteness and mix it with a scrappy bunch of reds! The red would be good for Christmas projects too" . Kerry email me your mailing address and I'll send the fabric your way this week!

So with that out of the way, what did you do this past weekend and what exciting things do you have planned for this week?

Not so "laid back" weekend here, but still great. The book looks intriguing. Thanks for the tip - I just reserved the audio version at my library. See you soon!

My husband has the day off, which is a huge deal because even when he has a holiday, he usually works part of the day anyway. I am just sewing away while the kids are playing downstairs. Bliss!

I came up with a new, at least to me, binding that I can't wait to try on a baby quilt I'm finishing up. Am I the only one who doesn't count sheep to fall asleep but counts stitching project ideas instead? Yeesh!

I listened to the audio version of that book and loved it! I am working like a dervish on my Halloween 1904 project and having a ball.

Can't for the life of me remember what I did Saturday! That is so sad. Sunday I donated blood which turned out to be a mess as I got dizzy and almost blacked out. What a weinie! Spent the rest of the day in bed.

How do you like the book? I bought it but haven't started it yet.

I actually sewed! Shock. Worked on a pillow for the Pillow Talk {Swap}9. Do you love the book? It's on my list to read.

Loved that book Pam. Spent all of Saturday with 2 sweet granddaughters and Sunday a special dinner out with my husband. And a little sewing tucked in too!
